Cura Day Hospitals Group today announced the acquisition of Sunshine Coast Day Surgery, a multi-disciplinary facility located in Maroochydore, Queensland.

The twin-theatre facility has provided same-day surgical services to the Sunshine Coast community for 25 years with a focus on advanced medical technology and quality patient care.

Sunshine Coast Day Surgery specialises in Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, Dental, Orthopaedic and IVF/ Gynaecological Services.

Cura Day Hospitals Group Chief Executive Office Peter Freeleagus said the acquisition brings into focus the continuing demand for access to quality surgical services in local communities.
