About Victoria Parade Surgery Centre

VPSC has 5 operating theatres utilizing state of the art equipment together with a five bed first-stage Recovery Unit and a ten recliner-chair Second Stage Recovery. We are a Day only facility covering procedures for Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose and Throat and Oculoplastic surgery for clients of all ages including children.

Located in the heart of the CBD, Melbourne, we are surrounded by leafy gardens, major hospitals with easy access to public transport and parking our facility has a long-standing reputation for excellence in patient care.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurses / Enrolled Nurses (Scrub/scout) to join us on a Part time & Casual.

This is a very close-knit team of excellent Specialists and Nurses who have a long-standing local reputation as a quality provider in Ophthalmology services in Melbourne.

Customer service and delivery is at the forefront of what we do and we are looking for likeminded nurses who want to join a team where Quality and Safety are our guiding principles of everyday care.

About You

  • Experience with Ophthalmology/ Plastics or ENT desirable.
  • Relevant qualification and current AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum 12 months nursing experience in operating theatres
  • Ability to work supportively within a team and adapt to change
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Provide high quality care that meets current best practice standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
