Sydney Day Surgery – Prince Alfred (SDS-PA) is a private day hospital close to Sydney’s CBD which has recently appointed a new DON. The facility, which comprises three operating theatres, offers a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Surgical specialties include Oral-Maxillofacial, Dental, ENT, Plastic & Reconstructive, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, and General Surgery. Sydney Day Surgery – Prince Alfred is a member of Cura Day Hospitals Group

We are seeking nursing staff with experience in the areas of anaesthetics and to join us on a casual basis.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

  • At least 2 years postgraduate experience
  • Experience in anaesthetics
  • Exceptional clinical skills
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
  • The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care

Essential criteria

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • Working with Children Certificate or ability to obtain
  • Current Immunisation
  • Anaesthetic experience essential
