Sydney Day Surgery – Prince Alfred (SDS-PA) is a private day hospital close to Sydney’s CBD which has recently appointed a new DON. The facility, which comprises three operating theatres, offers a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Surgical specialties include Oral-Maxillofacial, Dental, ENT, Plastic & Reconstructive, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, and General Surgery. We are seeking nursing staff with experience in the areas of anaesthetics and to join us on a casual basis.
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience
- Experience in anaesthetics
- Exceptional clinical skills
- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
Essential criteria
- Current AHPRA nursing registration
- Working with Children Certificate or ability to obtain
- Current Immunisation
- Anaesthetic experience essential
