Ballarat Day Procedure Centre Appoints New Director of Nursing

Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to announce Cheryl-Lea Whitelock has been appointed Director of Nursing at Ballarat Day Procedure Centre.

Ms Whitelock has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry and has held a range of management roles over that time.

Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO Andrew Currie said he and the Ballarat Day Procedure Centre team are looking forward to seeing the hospital continue to thrive with the assistance of Ms Whitelock’s leadership.

“Her extensive background in nursing, high level of education and commitment to mentoring individuals means she is a great addition to the executive team,” he said.

“Ms Whitelock is also passionate about working with doctors and hospital staff to improve patient outcomes wherever possible.”

Ms Whitelock first became a registered nurse in 1989 and since then has worked as an associate nurse unit manager, clinical nurse educator and business development manager.

She will work alongside Operations Manager, Tim Puyk, to lead the team at Ballarat Day Procedure Centre and ensure everyone feels supported to do their job to the best of their ability.

“I am confident they will work together seamlessly throughout 2022 and beyond,” Mr Currie said.

Ms Whitelock commences on 10th January 2022.
