Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to confirm that Jane Tuckey was appointed to the role of Director of Nursing at Perth Eye Hospital commencing 6th May 2019.

Jane has broad clinical, hands-on experience and more than 18 years’ experience working in procedural management and leadership roles.

Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO, Peter Freeleagus, said he was delighted that Jane would be joining the Cura Group, which encompasses 21 facilities nationally.

“Together with Perth Eye Hospital’s CEO, Andrea Le Guier, the new Director of Nursing role will provide collaborative leadership to the staff and ensure the effective delivery of health care to the patients of Perth Eye Hospital,”

Mr Freeleagus said.

“Jane’s experience coupled with her high-degree of leadership and communication skills will make her an asset to the team and to the group overall.”

Prior to joining Cura, Jane held a senior management role at St John of God Hospital, Subiaco where she was responsible for a number of procedural departments such as Theatres; Short Stay, Endoscopy, Cardiac and Vascular Angiography Units; and Wembley Day Surgery.

In addition to her nursing qualifications, Jane also holds a graduate certificate in Business.
