Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to confirm that Simone Hamilton has been appointed to the role of CEO/Director of Nursing at Queensland Eye Hospital effective Monday 28th October 2019.
Ms Hamilton, who previously held the role of Clinical Nurse Manager at Eye Tech Day Surgeries, has proven to be an exceptional leader with a focus on clinical governance, implementing quality improvement activities, and patient engagement.
Cura Day Hospitals Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Freeleagus, said he was confident that Ms Hamilton would continue to grow Queensland Eye Hospital to further meet the needs of patients, staff and Doctors.
“Queensland Eye Hospital is well-known for the provision of high quality care and surgical outcomes for patients in the Brisbane community. Simone is well suited to build upon this reputation with her specialised industry knowledge.” Mr Freeleagus said.
Simone’s experience encompasses both public and private hospitals and she holds several qualifications including a Bachelor of Health Science, and Certificates in Ophthalmic Nursing, and Specialising in Theatre.
