About Kawana Private Hospital
Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited multi-disciplinary hospital that provides four operating theatres to offer a broad range of surgical services for all patients.
The hospital was opened in November 2006 in response to the increased demand from both surgeons and patients on the Sunshine Coast. In this short time Kawana Private Hospital has built a well-deserved reputation as a centre of excellence for health care services.
Patients are cared for in a safe and well maintained environment. Our modern surgical facility includes a ward for patients who require an overnight stay to recover. We ensure best practice standards through continuous improvement and regular staff education.
Kawana Private Hospital uses and complies with NSQHS standards and is licensed to QLD Health.
In June 2012, Kawana Private Hospital became part of the Cura Day Hospitals Group.
