Chatswood Private Hospital is proud to welcome Kerrie Legg to our management team, serving as the new Hospital Director. The move comes following a pleasing surge in hospital activity, necessitating an experienced director to help manage the growth in operations.
Ms Legg brings with her a wealth of experience, having managed the recently closed Dalcross Adventist Hospital for several years. After initial nursing training at Royal North Shore Hospital she led a diverse nursing career leading to specialising in Ophthalmology 24 years ago at Dalcross Hospital. More recently her role had expanded to multi-speciality theatre management and teaching and had been the Acting Director of Clinical Services since early 2017.
Kerrie is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is currently involved with RANZCO registrar training programme at Chatswood Private Hospital.
Since 2002 she has been heavily involved in International Ophthalmology projects and has made 15 Ophthalmology outreach surgical and teaching visits to the Solomon Islands, China and the Philippines.
Chatswood Private Hospital looks forward to the experience that Ms Legg will bring to the role, and offer her all of our support.
