The Board of Cura Day Hospitals Group (Cura) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Roff to its Board of Directors, effective Thursday 29th May 2025.

This appointment reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to strong corporate governance and the strategic enhancement of its leadership capabilities as it enters its next phase of growth.

Michael Roff brings to the board over 30 years of experience in the private hospital industry, with a proven track record in development and advocacy of national health policy that reflects the interests of the private hospital sector.

Mr Roff holds current positions as a Board Director including The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) and Board Director and Chair for ACHS International (ACHSI).

He also notably held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) for 24 years.

Chairman of the Board, Dr Keith Zabell, welcomed the appointment, stating that Mr Roff’s deep knowledge of private hospitals and leadership acumen would complement the existing strengths of our Board.

“Michael’s experience and insight will be instrumental in raising Cura’s profile as we continue to navigate a dynamic operating environment and deliver long-term value for our shareholders,” said Dr Zabell.

The appointment will assist Cura in strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, enhancing service delivery, and positioning the organisation for sustainable growth.
