Sunshine Coast Day Surgery have unveiled their brand-new reception and waiting areas following a refurbishment completed early January. The upgrade included updated fixtures and fittings as well as new furniture and custom joinery.
Chief Executive Officer, Peter Freeleagus, said that the works are part of the facility’s broader vision to simplify and improve the delivery of patient care for the local sunshine coast community.
“Sunshine Coast Day Surgery have always been at the forefront of clinical care. This refurbishment reinforces their commitment to improving the patient experience, from a patient’s first impression upon entering and following the patient’s journey all the way through to discharge,” he said.
The reception and waiting area upgrades were planned in conjunction with patient, carer and staff feedback to ensure optimal functionality and design.
