Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to announce Donna McKendry has been appointed as the new CEO/Director of Nursing at Victoria Parade Surgery Centre effective Monday 14th February 2022.
As both a registered nurse and midwife, Ms McKendry had held an array of both management and clinical roles throughout her career.
Most recently she was the nurse unit manager for 9 operating theatres and a day procedure unit.
Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO Andrew Currie said Ms McKendry is dedicated to providing a strong level of leadership that is centred around patient care and team culture.
“In her previous roles Ms McKendry has taken proactive steps to enhance the experience for patients which aligns with Cura Day Hospital Group’s commitment to quality care,” Mr Currie said.
“She also has a history of implementing and promoting professional development to create a skilled and stable team.
“On top of this she has extensive medical experience and is well educated when it comes to national standards and accreditation.”
Ms McKendry is also currently studying a Masters of Business Administration.
