Cura Day Hospitals Group (Cura) is proud to announce a new education partnership with Periop Concepts as part of an exciting trial program supporting day surgery nursing education and professional development across Australia.

As the leading day hospital provider in Australia, Cura has a longstanding commitment to investing in the growth and capability of its nursing teams.

The trial will see 12 Cura sites across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria gain access to the Periop Concepts Day Surgery Nurse Education Program — a fully integrated online learning platform built specifically for perioperative and day surgery environments.

The program is designed to drive consistency in clinical education, build confidence among nursing staff, and strengthen everyday practice across Cura’s national network.

All content is aligned with ACORN, ACPAN, and NSQHS Standards, ensuring nurses have access to practical, evidence-based learning that translates directly into improved patient outcomes.

Jeffrey Woods, National Clinical Governance Manager at Cura, said the partnership directly addresses key workforce and education challenges facing the sector.
