Cura Day Hospital Group Strengthens its Victorian Presence

The Board of Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to advise its Shareholders of the acquisition of Victoria Parade Surgery Centre. The acquisition was completed on Friday 6th December 2013.

“We are very delighted that Victoria Parade Surgery Centre is now part of the Cura Day Hospitals Group. The hospital incorporates the latest equipment for Surgeons working in the specialties of Ophthalmology, Retinal Surgery, Oculoplastics and Ear, Nose & Throat,” said Dr Keith Zabell, Cura’s Chairman.

The Centre opened in August 2006. It features five operating theatres, five first stage recovery beds and 11 second-stage recovery chairs.

"Victoria Parade Surgery Centre has worked hard to earn its reputation for high quality patient care and to maintain its leading position through the introduction of new technologies and surgical techniques for its patients,” said Cura’s CEO, Mr Peter Freeleagus.

“We extend a very warm welcome to the Doctors and staff to the Cura Group.”
