Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to announce Samantha Munsie will take on the role of CEO/Director of Nursing at Sydney Day Surgery – Prince Alfred.
Ms Munsie has more than three decades of experience in clinical nursing and hospital management.
Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO Andrew Currie said Ms Munsie is a highly motivated leader who is dedicated to fostering a collaborative team environment.
“Ms Munsie is well-respected in her field and is passionate about building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders,” he said.
“Her high-level knowledge and skills within the industry mean she is reliable, relatable, works well under pressure and she understands the importance of providing excellent patient care.”
Samantha graduated in 1987 from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and in 2014 she completed her Certificate IV in Training & Development. She also holds qualifications in Health Leadership Management and Frontline Leadership.
In her most recent role, Ms. Munsie was the Director of Nursing at a private hospital in Western Australia. Her career also encompassed roles as a Nurse Unit Manager, a Training and Development Manager, and a Registered Nurse.
“Ms. Munsie is not just a manager, but also a mentor. She is a hard-working professional who I am confident will promote and maintain high standards within the whole team at Sydney Day Surgery - Prince Alfred,” Mr. Currie said.
“She is all about professional growth and quality patient care and I look forward to welcoming her into the Cura Group when she takes on the role in early May.”
Ms. Munsie holds an array of qualifications including a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Cert IV in Training and Development, and a Graduate Certificate in Health Leadership and Management.
