Sydney Surgical Centre Welcomes New CEO and Director of Nursing

Cura Day Hospitals Group is proud to announce the appointment of Nicholas Edwards as the new CEO and Director of Nursing at Sydney Surgical Centre.

Mr Edwards is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of experience who brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles including his most recent position as the Chief Clinical and Quality Advisor of Forward Ability Support and BrightSky Australia.

Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO Andrew Currie applauds Mr Edward’s dedication to the healthcare industry, both as a medical professional and published medical author, and is extremely proud to have someone of his calibre take on this position.

 In his most recent role, Mr Edward’s responsibilities saw him overseeing the clinical standards and competency of over 100 care workers and clinicians while managing the provision of clinical education to relevant teams and external community partners.

“With his proven track record as a motivated and respected leader, I have no doubt that Mr Edward will succeed in his new role as CEO and Director of Nursing,” Mr Currie said.

Mr Edwards holds numerous qualifications including a Master of Nursing, Master of Public Health, Master of Applied Health Management and Bachelor of Applied Science.
