About Devonport Eye Hospital
Devonport Eye Hospital is licensed with the Department of Health, Tasmanian Government. We are a purpose-built ophthalmic centre of excellence, specialising in adult eye surgery. With technological advances in microsurgery evolving faster than ever, modern eye surgery requires specialised equipment, nursing, and anaesthesia staff.
Our centre provides customised, state-of-the-art ophthalmic facilities and instrumentation complimented by a team of well-trained clinical and administrative staff who share the vision of a surgical centre of excellence. The result is that our day centre specialises in serving the unique needs of ophthalmic surgery patients.
Devonport Eye Hospital has been awarded the prestigious 3 year accreditation with the ACHS.
