Glenelg Day Surgery Appoints New Director of Nursing

Cura Day Hospitals Group is pleased to announce Sarah Bert has been appointed as the new Director of Nursing at Glenelg Day Surgery effective 16th October 2023.

Cura Day Hospitals Group CEO Andrew Currie said her experience in the private hospital sector will greatly benefit the Doctors, staff and patients at Glenelg Day Surgery.

“We are delighted to welcome Sarah to Cura. Her extensive clinical experience spans more than 18 years, and her achievements in Risk, Safety and Quality demonstrate her commitment to patient care and healthcare excellence.”

Ms Bert holds numerous qualifications including a Bachelor of Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, and a Certificate 4 in Frontline Management.

Ms Bert is also currently studying for a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management (Safety and Quality) through the University of Tasmania.

“We look forward to Sarah’s leadership, which will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued high-quality care our patients expect and deserve at Glenelg Day Surgery,” Mr Currie added.

Mr Currie said Ms Bert will work closely with Emma Lyndon who has taken on the role of CEO for both Glenelg Day Surgery and Adelaide Day Surgery.
